How we got here !

It all started with the simple idea to ride across the country with a group of friends. We thought we could stop along the way to meet with people we know, spend some time together, and invite them to join us for whatever part of the journey they had time for. The idea continued to grow - while we're at it, why not do something to support a cause? Each of us has different interests, but one of the most unique connections among us was Buddhism. There isn't an obvious connection between Buddhism and bikers, so we thought this angle would give the ride a more unique focus. So while the fundraising is not aimed exclusively towards Buddhism, we decided to make the ride from Buddhist center to Buddhist center.

Open to everyone, Ride to Help is an opportunity for people who love to ride to come together for a universal cause. Over the course of three weeks, we will ride across the country from the West coast to the East coast, making stops along the way at at least 11 destinations, including Bodhi Path Buddhist Centers as well as other participating charitable organizations. We already have the support of the Bodhi Path Buddhist Center network and the Himalayan Harley Riders. You can join us for the whole tour, or just for a portion of it. All you need is a love of the open road and the desire to make a difference to a cause that matters to you.
